After their breakup, Pete is taking a "clean break" from Kim because they are living in "two different worlds"

Kim Kardashian's breakup, Pete Davidson is getting better

Taking some personal time. With Kim Kardashian's breakup, Pete Davidson is getting better. The former Saturday Night Live performer is handling the split with the SKIMS founder gradually.

Nearly a month after it was disclosed that they were no longer talking, a source close to the King of Staten Island actor gave Hollywood Life an update on his life. "While Pete was devastated when the separation first occurred, he is now a lot more at peace with it. He can tell that they were obviously not intended to be, the person said. They come from two distinct planets, or perhaps it's more accurate to say two distinct realities. Pete and Kim no longer communicate, and they essentially had a clean break.

On August 5, 2022, a source told Page Six that Kim and Pete had split up after dating for nine months. The insider stated, "Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends." Despite their deep love and respect for one another, they discovered that maintaining a relationship was extremely challenging due to their considerable distance and busy schedules. While Kim is based in Calabasas, California, where she lives with her four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, Pete is now filming a movie in Australia. Kim and her ex-husband, Kanye West, who she filed for divorce from in February 2019, share children.

The age gap between Kim and Pete, according to Page Six's source, played a significant role in their decision to split up. The insider explained, "Pete is 28 and Kim is 41; they are just in very different places right now. "Pete is completely impetuous and spontaneous and wants her to immediately come to New York or wherever he is." But Kim has four kids, and it isn't that simple, the person stated. She must put the kids first. The insider also disclosed that Kim has found it challenging to maintain relationships because of her businesses, which include Skims, KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance, and SKKN. "This relationship and other things going on in her life have completely tired [her]."

When Kim hosted the venerable sketch comedy program on October 20, 2021, they first connected on the set of Saturday Night Live. Kim remembered the Kardashians episode where she expressed a desire to be nearer to Pete. After hosting Saturday Night Live in October 2021, Kim recalled the day she contacted Pete. She confessed to having called the SNL producer and asking, "Hey, do you have Pete's number?" in an episode of The Kardashians. And they responded, "Yeah." I DM him. I wasn't even considering the possibility of becoming romantically involved with him.

I just had the thought, "Heard about this BDE, need to get out there, need to kickstart my...'" Kim grinned as she told the cameras, "I was just literally DTF." Pete has a tattoo marking the occasion as well. The phrase "Jasmine to my Aladdin" appears on the tattoo and alludes to a Saturday Night Live skit in which they both appeared as the lead characters from Disney's Aladdin. They shared their first kiss in the sketch as well.

In a series of Instagram posts directed both at the Kardashians and Pete, Kanye lambasted Pete. In a single post, Kanye stated, "Ask Pete how those tattoos of my kids doing in the trauma unit." Pete's tattoo of the initials of Kim and Kanye's children was referred to as "KNSCP" by the "Heartless" rapper. According to rumors, Pete was seeking trauma counseling as a result of Kanye's Instagram tirades while dating the DONDA rapper's ex-wife.
