For the Poles, Milik assists Lewandowski, while Saudi Arabia makes changes due to injury
AL RAYYAN, QATAR: Czeslaw Michniewicz, Poland's head coach, has added two strikers to his assault, while three changes have been made by Saudi Arabia for their World Cup match on Saturday at the Education City Stadium.
After receiving criticism for fielding a mostly defensive side as Poland struggled to score in their 0-0 opening match against Mexico on Tuesday, Michniewicz decided to put Robert Lewandowski and Arkadiusz Milik up front this time.
Lewandowski will be happy about the change because, in recent months, he has openly asked for assistance with his attacking responsibilities.
Three changes were made by Saudi Arabia coach Herve Renard to the team that upset Argentina 2-1 in their opening match, two of which were brought about by injury. Abdulelah Al-Amri, Mohammed Al-Breik, and Sami Al-Najei are now on the field.
Yasser Al-Shahrani, a defender for the Saudis, won't be playing since he had surgery back home after suffering a severe facial and abdominal injury in the first game. Salman Al-Faraj will also not be playing for the Saudis.
Teams:
Poland:
