NBA Says The Lakers, Warriors, and Mavericks are The Three Philippine Fans' top Picks

THE PHILIPPINES, MANILA - The NBA Philippines merchandise and viewership sales were led by the Lakers, Warriors, and Mavericks.

THE PHILIPPINES, MANILA - The NBA Philippines merchandise and viewership sales were led by the Lakers, Warriors, and Mavericks.

The three teams with the highest earnings, according to NBA Asia managing director Ramez Sheikh, are the reigning champion Golden State, Los Angeles, and Dallas.

"I can see that the Lakers, Warriors, and Mavericks are three of the most well-liked teams in terms of both our merchandising and game consumption. When it comes to our real item sales and game consumption, those three teams are at the top," Sheikh said.

They lead the league in both viewership and sales, which indicates that the majority of NBA customers in the nation (whether they subscribe via League Pass or free Cignal TV) watch the games of those three clubs.

The NBA is aiming to develop more stores to complement the one at SM Megamall that debuted in August in order to increase the league's earnings.

"We are absolutely looking for further physical options with our partner Titan. We're still debating. Nothing certain, nothing to announce just yet, but we're looking to explore more venues with our partner Titan," he said.

The Mavericks, headed by MVP candidate Luka Doncic, are now the fifth-best club in the Western Conference with a 9-6 record.

On the other hand, Utah currently holds the second slot, led by Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson, leaving the Warriors (6-9) and Lakers (3-10) outside of the postseason berths.
