When they arrived in the city of York in northern England on Wednesday, King Charles III and Camilla, the queen consort, were booed.

The king and queen consort enter the city through Micklegate Bar, a medieval doorway where monarchs are customarily welcomed to the city, and start strolling among a crowd of people who are clamoring to get a look at the current monarch and his wife but are constrained by obstacles.

When numerous eggs nearly missed the monarch's face, the king can be seen shaking hands with a number of people in a video.
